am looking for some suggestions on if I should be present when the coroner testifies at my brothers case. My baby brother Michael was murdered Dec. 6, 2008. There has been no real answers of how he was killed. Is it beneficial to stay in during this testimony?

I'm glad you found this board and hope you find some comfort here. You may want to check with Parents of Murdered Children on this. There's a link to them on here. Do you have a Victims' Assistance office in your city? They could also possibly help. Hopefully, others on here will have more info. Unfortunately, I don't as my familys' case didn't involve this issue. I hope justice is done 1 day in your case. Take care.

I'm very sorry to hear about your brother.
I was not in the courtroom during my dad's murder trial, as I was called as a witness, but I did receive a copy of the coroner's report. It was very obvious how my dad died, so that was not an issue. Coroner's reports contain very intimate details unrelated to the cause of death, so it may be better to hear only what matters to the case, rather than read the report.
My suggestion would be to have a friend or relative present that could relay information to you, if you are having any questions about being there. You can't unhear or unsee things that you really wished you hadn't heard or seen.
Hope this helps. Take care.
