Dear steelersgirl82, I'm very sorry about your Uncle. I'm glad you found this board and hope you find some comfort here. As far as what else you can do about your case, you may want to contact Parents of Murdered Children. There's a link to them on here. I hope justice is done 1 day in your case. Again, welcome to the board. Take care.

Hello steelersgirl, I looked at your myspace page for your precious uncle. I am so sorry for his terrible loss in so horrible a way. I saw that he was in the Navy, my brother and my dad were in the Navy too. From what you have told us, the case should never have been dropped until a way was found for justice to be done for one of our country's finest - one of our Veterans. I am heartbroken for you all I agree with pumpkin that you may want to contact POMC (link at top of page). I once knew a woman whose son was murdered in Florida, and ruled non-homicide - POMC did a "second look" and the case was re-opened. I saw on his/your myspace page that the wife had him cremated, so they could not do a second autopsy. However, if I am remembering correctly, I believe they can review the existing information and bring attention to the facts. I would think it would be well worth it to contact them and see. I hope this helps you somehow, and that you will come here to vent or to share if you need to. May God bless and bring you comfort, and may there be justice for your uncle Charles. Janet
