Hello everyone. I'm a new member here and would like to ask this question.
On Feb. 22 of 2012, my sister Sheila and her best friend Justin were killed by a drunk driver doing 90mph down the wrong side of the interstate. He had been traveling for at least 2-3 miles before he hit my sister's car. His computer from his jeep showed he never bothered swerving before hitting my sister's car. The computer from my sister's car showed she tried swerving to miss the oncoming jeep, but to no avail.
The perp is one Roy Glenn Armstrong, he didn't have much of a life besides his family's appliance and commercial kitchen appliance store (which we successfully sued for as part of our civil settlement). As my sister's brother, I firmly believe he tried committing suicide and taking others with him. Thus, literally murdering my sister and her friend.
I am one of two people in my family who firmly stand by this. Is there any way I can bring up murder charges? I've frequently thought about writing the ass wipe but I can't bring myself to ever forgive him.
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Dear starkiller1125r, I'm very sorry about your sister and her boyfriend. Maybe the lawyer and/or lawyers you had in your civil case can refer you to a criminal lawyer? Some lawyers will see you for free for one visit in order to learn about your case, etc. You may want to call your local "bar association" to see if they can refer you to a criminal lawyer to ask questions of. There are also "lawyer referral services" in some cities that are reachable by phone. I hope this info might help you. Take care.

Thanks for the reply! ( ^ . ^ )
So I'm assuming I've got grounds for additional charges? I understand it is going to be one person's word against another's. But from the evidence I see, it's clearly some sick *deleted* who tried taking others out with him. Thus, murder. Pardon my language but there's no other term to categorize the ass wipe. He could have quietly painted his room with his brain matter to all of us victims content but he didn't have the balls.
ALL of this will be brought up during assholes parole hearing in 4 years. Anyone and anybody with anything to testify against said *not a very nice person*is welcome to join the parole hearing. The court is in Sugarland, TX.
Again, anyone is welcome. I hear the Texas parole board is tough on people like the *not a very nice person*that killed my sister, but any and all voices of concern are most heartedly welcome.
Thanks again!

You're welcome on the reply. Please note that I'm NOT a lawyer. So I'm not saying for sure you have grounds for more charges. Just that a lawyer might tell you that you do depending on what the law says. In the future, please watch your language on here. I'm wanting to keep this board at a certain standard at all times. Thank you.
