Her name was Rakeel Koree[these spellings may be wrong ,because i read about her in an urdu magazine]She was a worker of peace movement and she was student of Evergreen state college Washington. She have to got her final degree this year from that college. .She went to Palestine with other six wokers to agitate against Israeli army when it was demolishing the houses of poor Palestinians through bildozers. The worker thought when America will attack on Iraq then the people will be thinking about that war and Israel will use power against PA. , On 16th march Israeli army began to demolish the houses of poor Palestinian in a village near Gaza Rakeel stood in front of a bildozer and she bowed on her knees several hours and tryed to stop the bildozer. Driver was seeing this scene and other workers were alarming the driver through laud speaker but driver crushed the Rakeek with cruelty and she died. I think Rakeel scrified her life for peace and poors Indeed she is our hero and the whole American may be proud on her scrifiece. I think that it is necessary for us to console this great lady'family.I had no address of that family .I tried my best to trace IT but failed thereFfore i console that family through this site If any fried has their address ,kindly send me .I will be greatful to him Charlene, I am very sorry that it is not proper place ,Please kindly excuse me and you can delete it if necessary.

Aslam,
Although I do not currently have the information you need, I am in the process of trying to get you an email address so that you can send your condolences. I am aware of this young saint, Rachel Corrie (sp?), through some online friends who do peace work in the middle east. I will be glad to post the information here if and when I am able to obtain it.
You are so very right about Rachel. She is a hero. She laid down her life for the ideals she believed in.
Thank you for acknowledging her sacrifice.

Hmm, my post got deleted despite the fact that 2 of my high school classmates were murder victims on 9/11. And that my work neighborhood (downtown Manhattan) was a murder scene for months.
All's I said was not to forget to send condolences to the victims of the homicide bombers as well as Rachel's family. And here's a picture of her burning a mock up of an American flag w/some Palestinians. And let's not forget, Palestinians danced in the street on 9/11.
Seeing as how this is a site for the loved ones of murder victims, how do you think the loved ones of the thousands MURDERED on 9/11 felt about her joyfully burning flags among people who danced for the deaths of their loved ones?
Her death is a tragedy, but don't forget the others murdered in the name of extremists.

Tess, your post was deleted because it was inappropriate, as is THIS one.
Yes, the events of 9/11 were a terrible tragedy of monstrous proportion, and I am very sorry for your personal losses, but no single loss outweighs another here. Your losses do not give you the right to come here and disrespect our members.
The young woman Aslam wishes to remember is ALSO a victim of violence. While I do not condone burning the American flag, the young woman's political beliefs are NOT at issue on this board any more than those of my own murdered daughter or your classmates would be. But suggesting that personal condolences be sent to ALL of the 9/11 victim's families is not only impossible in scope, but just plain snide (which was clearly your intention) and posted solely to agitate. This board is supposed to be a safe haven for victim's survivors where they can come for support and advice, and to vent their pain -- and comments like yours will not be tolerated. Unless you have something MUCH more considerate or constructive to contribute, I suggest that you refrain from posting. If you leave another post such as this one, it WILL be deleted and YOU will be banned from this board.
I'm leaving your posting up (minus the photo) for the time being so that others will understand MY posting.

Clarissa,
Thanks for doing a great job on this. We all need to feel that this is a place where we can mourn victims of violence without worrying about stepping on someone else's political agenda...er...toes.
Thanks for all your efforts!

In Intelligence, nothing is taken in a vacuum. Everything must be considered as it relates to other things; otherwise, one stands the risk of swallowing a deception. And if the entire world operated as such, then no one would be sinless.
The world, however, does not operate as such and that is fortunate, in a way, for if the world did, then it probably would not be human.
Everyone is someone's someone somewhere. Right or wrong, all are special to a few at least.
I could state my views in this situation, but I won't, such is not the place.........even though they might surprising to some, would probably label me a T word or a Benedict A. by others (and hence, a reason for a level of personal camouflage to an extent).
But in the various environmental groups I belong to, I would love to be able to join other members when they build sand animals on Padre Island as a message against oil drilling. Being with security forces at one extent or another, however, it is a move I dare not do.
Hence, when people do stand up peacefuly, there is a certain point of admiration, or even a point of envy.
We each have those we consider dear but I regret to say, she is not one of mine. Those that I do are those that have touched me in ways that I do not control. But even though she is not one of mine, it is still a needless tragedy and though not touched, it is still felt as that. ------------------------------------------------------------- ("WAIT!
