I am writing this message because I need help in solving my father's murder. His name is Jose Carrera and he was found shot in the head three times, execution style and dumped on Happy Valley Rd. in Phoenix, Arizona, on March 22, 2003. The detectives say he might have gone with someone he knew and foul play may be involved. Please if anyone knows anything please contact the Phoenix Homicide Unit. I am not familiar with Arizona but if anyone can give me information about the type of crimes that happen in this area it would be very helpful. My father was a John Doe when he was found and his murder wasn't even in the paper because they thought it was just the death of an illegal, but I just want to say that Jose Carrera was the best father ever. I love him so much and I am not going to let his life not be treated without respect. I am just very passionate about finding clues to his murder. If you have information about this Phoenix, Arizona unsolved murder please help.
Thank You Evelyn

>:(Hi I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I live in Phoenix and horrible things happen here every day. I'm sorry that your life had to be touched by the ugliness Phoenix can not hide. I just ran across your site and I would have felt wrong for not at least sending my condolences. I hope you find justice.

I do not wish to intrude. But I can honestly say I feel your pain. My father was also murdered excution style in Phoenix this past January. His murder, to date, remains unsolved. Have you been in touch with the Silent Witness Program in Phoenix? The police told me that this could eventually be an important tool in solving the case. I aslo wish to honour my father. My grief at times gets in the way but I think the best way to honour his life is to live my life as he did, humbly and respectfully. I may be clutching at straws but there are some similarities between our cases. Please be well and try to remember all that is good about your father this holiday season. Briandennis

Evelyn, my heart goes out to you and all of your loved ones. I understand what you are going through. I lost a very dear friend to a brutal murder also in Phoenix in 1994. It is deemed an open active case but the case is stone cold. I can't even find an article of his story anywhere on the net, and since I don't reside in Az. I can't access certain library documents. I hope you find the light that guides you to giving JUSTICE to your dear father. God Bless You Always and the best of luck in your search. If I come across anything I will contact you.

Evelyn, As so many before have said, I too am so sorry for your loss. My father was murdered on April 24, 2004 outside Casa Grande, Az. Like your father, mine was my hero, friend, confidant, mentor, idol and just plain daddy. My father's murder is also unsolved and I can relate in many ways to your grief and torment. No matter how the police originally wrote the crime up, your father was someone and I for one will not forget him now. I will remember his name along with my father's, in my heart forever. I pray for you and your family. And I pray for both of our losses to be vindicated, for both crimes to be solved and for the pathetic cowards that committed them to pay. God Bless you, Candice
