My seven-year-old son Tyler James was tragically killed because he was a victim of criminal neglect and child endangerment, that was perpetrated upon him by a member of his mother's family. My son was also a victim of vehicular manslaughter at the hands of criminal with four prior prison terms, and multiple DUI's pending that he just received days prior to striking and killing my son while driving over the double yellow line in a reckless manner. Although all these facts are evident, members of the Lake County California Highway Patrol concluded that my seven-year-old son caused his own death and refused to even properly question these two criminals who clearly caused my son's death. It is an absurd miscarriage of justice to conclude that a seven-year-old child should be blamed for causing his own death. I have been on a mission to expose this injustice for over four years. I consider my son's death and unsolved crime. I recently started a web site to honor my son and expose the terrible injustice surrounding his death. The Web address is, www.deathofinnocence.org I hope you will take the time to visit my web site and sign and online petition to protest the fact that my seven-year-old son was blamed for causing his own death. Sincerely, Thomas Wilkerson grieving father seeking truth and justice

thomas,i feel they should have done more.they should have not only cited the driver, they should have been tried for vehicular homicide.also, family or not,i think you should bring a wrongful death suit against the one that let your little boy ride out there on that road.i know it won't erase the pain, but it will prove a point.the point being they should never do this no matter what......god bless you

Thomas, I read you post and just finished with your website. My heart goes out to you for the loss of your son. I have a 7 yr.old daughter that needs constant reminders so that she will not do things that are harmful to her health. If I allowed her to ride on a busy rd. w/o a helmet of course she would. She wouldn't think twice about the threat to her safety. Younge minds just don't think that way and for those **** to put the blame on your son is a gross miscarriage of justice. What are they thinking? I hope that you find justice for Tyler. I signed your petition and will pass the website to family and friends. Both you and Tyler are in my prayers. T
