I've now calmed down enough to write about how not long ago some pictures of my Dad, Grandma, fiance and I that I'd put online were deleted. Basically, they were put into a section of a photo website and then deleted. This section didn't belong to me. It belongs to another person. Why my pictures would even BE PUT in another person's section is reason for suspicion. Then I find the pictures are gone. Thanks to my fiance knowing more about the Internet, etc., than me, we were able to find the new URL's for the deleted pictures. That's how we found them put in another person's section. If this person had put in any other URL's, then my pictures would have been replaced with images that had nothing to do with my pictures. Ie., it would have been very easy to see what was done. The way it WAS done was to hide out as best as possible. There's a little bit of good news about this: my section wasn't hacked. That was our 1st fear. My pictures are still online and I also have the originals. These pictures are very precious because I don't know of any other copies of them, plus at least 2 of them are of Dad and Grandma. I've had people online accuse me in the past of saying stuff behind peoples' backs. This is 1 reason I confronted the "person" (I use that word loosely) by e-mail. To this day, I have no answer. Which is actually what I expected. And I've never gotten return mail on it either. I'm a big believer in confrontration anyway is another reason I directly confronted. A reason I'm posting this is to WARN OTHER MVS about this kind of abuse. Please make sure your pictures are safely stored somewhere on your computer in case anyone does this to you. I'm hoping it doesn't happen to anyone else, but better safe than sorry. I'm totally disgusted that anyone would do this. But, it fits with other things I've seen done (and said) online. People do these things to us KNOWING about our tragedies. This applies in this case, by the way. Thanks for listening to my venting and PLEASE keep your pictures safe in case you post them online.
