Hello everyone,
My name is Theresa A. Forsythe and I am a survivor of a homicide victim, my father, Andrew R. Niksick, he was murdered December 2, 1982, we know who the killer is but he remains a free man today do to lack of evidence and the only witness they have is the killers wife who went to the police and told the story of how her husband killed my father, well, back in 1982 a husband could refuse his wife's testimony. So this monster has been able to live the past 20 years a free man, walking our streets, letting other children in his house to play with his daughter, being a neighbor, employee, a so called friend to people he knows, this is such a frightening thought.
Any how, I received permission from Charlene Hall
to let everyone here know about my new organization, we are soon to be non profit, we are pending our 501 (C) (3) application and should be non profit in about 120 days. Since I cannot help my father, I decided to help other people, so what our organization does is, we are going to raise reward money for "cold" case
homicides, to help get killers off the streets and to keep my fathers name and memory alive. It will give me great joy to help others that have been going through the same as me and to hand reward checks over in my fathers name, we are serving the entire U.S. and not limiting our self to one area. I have begged for help from so many people throughout the past 20 years over my fathers murder and it just amazes me how you have to really be SOMEBODY in order to get help!!!! Our organization however, will NOT be like that. We also have support message boards and you can email me from the site with pictures and memorabilia of your loved one and I will make a memorial page for your loved one, and we have a monthly newsletter that will inform you of our progress with the 501 (C) (3) and if funds are coming in smoothly and which cases reward funds are posted to etc. Please visit our site and if you know of a "cold" case that you want to add to our list, then just email me, but remember, we are still new, we just started up on May 6th, of this year so things will be slow for awhile, and please excuse our dust, things are kind of congested, we have a volunteer that is redesigning the whole site.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and god bless all of you.
Big hugs to all survivors,
Theresa A. Forsythe
