What a sad day it is for me, this is the day a murderer took his hands and made my daughter take her last breath. Tears still flow, heart still aches and time goes on. The crack in my heart will never mend. Missing my best friend, the mother of my grandchildren and my only daughter.

Dear tamecasmom,
I’ve been thinking about you today and even though I’m not particularly religious, you and your daughter are in my prayers. I hope you can find some comfort in the 23rd Psalm; it’s always been my favorite and seems particularly fitting for you especially on this sad day.
I hope you find the support and strength you need to make it through today.

Dear Tamecasmom,
Hoping that some of the good memories can break through today, as hard as that is for that to happen on this day, even bittersweet as they are, and that they might help at least a little bit.
Lighting a candle here for you, for Tameca, for her children, and wishing it never had to be.
Praying for whatever bit of comfort there can be for you, my heart goes out to you all,
Janet

I can't imagine loosing a child, but I did loose my husband to murder. I understand how you feel every year on the day your daughter was murdered. I have been through the same emotions and tears on that horrible day my husband was murdered. It has been nearly 2 and 1/2 years since his murder. Anniversaries, Birthday's and holidays are also difficult. Most people don't understand. I have heard some people say, "Well you just need time," or "Give time, time." You never get over it or forget and it never really gets easier. You just have to learn to adjust and live with it. We have to keep the Faith and keep believing that God is and will continue to take care of us. Our loved ones are in a better place, in Heaven with God. I read a quote the other day that I like. "Perhaps those are not stars in the sky, but the light through the eyes of our loved ones watching over us from Heaven." Hugs and prayers to you!!

I hope you got through the day as best as possible. I hope 1 day earthly justice is done in your case! Take care.
