www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2012/01/prosecution_can_use_confession.htmlAfter 4 years, 2 appeals and a Supreme Court ruling we may finally be on our way to trial. I am pretty tired of hearing people defend the killer's rights.....now finally (well in 6 months or so according to the court's schedule) we can defend Beth's rights. Waiting 4 years has been hard but it's made us all stronger to face the trial. Her boys are ready to face it so I have to be strong enough to do it too

so sorry for your loss, I remember the stress of getting ready for court, I'd ask my teachers during college for time off, then got home 6 hrs away , then get told on sunday/monday, it is postponed. this happened many times, then there is stress of jury selection. This can take 1-7 days. Mine took like 3 days. We drove all the way, to sit in a room for 8 hrs to continue the next day. I remember shaking/shivering for all all day, with like 5 second breaks between, totally involuntary shakes. I remember the defense attorney laughing with "him" like he was a buddy. And I hated that he gave him a tie to wear like it would make him get off by wearing a suit and tie! I remember they tried to get my brother and I to get out of the jury view, they wanted us to sit in the back row, I would recommend if you have a job toworry about, don't take time off till it is said and done, it will be postponed so many times, When they say it will happen, it will really feel like it will happen, then posponed. Just expect posponment. Sorry, but it really messes with your emotions and nerves all over again. Hopefully, yours won't be, I hope justice will be done, and you are stronger than you know!

Thank you for your advice and sharing your experience. We have already had our share of postponements and sitting waiting. My daughter was asking me what it will be like and I did explain just what you said. We could wait for hours only to be put off till the next day. Beth's kids have been amazing....we talked, tried to predict what would happen. Hard to face a monster who was once their friend. I know we will get a guilty verdict just pray the sentencing will be what we feel is deserved.
