The evil monster of a man that killed my friend has his case review hearing tomorrow. In NSW this happens every 7 years for those sentanced to life without parole.
If the NSW Supreme Court Upholds the sentace (the likely option i think) we wont hear about the case again for another 7 years. If for whatever reason they find some new evidence that means the life without parole sentance MAY NO LONGER BE APPROPRIATE then there will be another trial date. I guess this is so that the people who are innocent serving these terms can have a chance to keep putting their case forward and maybe get off. But it also gives EVIL MONSTERS like David Coulter another chance he doesnt deserve..
Praying to god that the Supreme Court upholds his sentance!

He should never be free again! Does "NSW" stand for "New South Wales" and if so that's in Australia, right?

Hey yes thats correct it does. I live in Sydney For the record, NSW is the only state in Australia where Murder of a Child under the age of 18 carries ONLY life without parole. Murder of adults its life but with a parole period of 25years or more to life without parole, depending on severity.

I hate how they even have a right to ruin the lives one more time , every 7 years , reliving it all over again! I believe if there were enough noise, example, like breast cancer, we can change alot.. I never looked it up, but I believe murder out numbers cancer far beyond, but nobody wants to join our group. There should be fundraisers for all of us, to support the newly "diagnosed with murder' since our lives are turned upside down in a second. It's hard to go to work, school, and be normal with friends, since they don't always really know what your going through..Like, I still have my long time friens since high school, we all moved on with our lives, but I don't think 17 yrs later I am still mad and jealous that they have their mom's and I don't . Like a few friends went on a cruise for 4 days and they have little kids, mine are 13 and 10, I have to say "no, sorry can't makeit", but what I want to say is,"sorry, my mom is not here to come to my house, babysit and help my husband so I can get away "

Thats crap. It shouldnt depend on someone every 7 years. There's too many variables. He did the crime so why shouldn't he do the time.. I hope it went well. Hugs

thanks for the support guys. the judge ruled to uphold the sentance. Also he ruled that unless there was "enlightening new evidence" the review period no longer applies to david. David will serve the rest of his natural sad and sorry life behind bars, unless new evidence comes to light. I guess the prayrs worked
