Please spend a moment today thinking about the families of Jennifer Ertman and Elizabeth Pena. They were murdered in a gang-rape situation 10 years ago, June 25, 2003. They are the reason I began doing what I do. You are the reason I continue. www.murdervictims.com/voices/jeneliz.html

I just like to thank you Charlene for making something positive come out of something so negetive. You have helped alot of people in the toughest times of their lives. You let them know that there are people out there who are either going through or went through the tough struggle of losing a love one through murder. I know that where ever Jenny and Elizabeth are they are very proud of you!!!! You did not let their death be in vein. Alot of times when someone is murdered so brutally like Jenny and Elizabeth it is so easy for their love ones to slip into a depression and not want to live anymore themselves but you did something amazing!!!! you not only came out of this a stronger woman but you also cared enough to start this website so you could help others cope with thier own losses. I think you are a great woman and you show alot of heart. Remember that Jenny is not too far from you she knows what you are doing and she is real proud of you!!!! Keep your faith alive and just believe that Elizabeth and Jenny are more alive then us!!!!!!

God bless Jenny and Elizabeth and God bless you for being able to go on for the rest of us when we can't. Gracie and Tiffany, and Jenny and Elizabeth are looking over us, along with all the rest of the angels. I'm sure by now they have seen what we (you) have done and are smiling. If we listen real close we can hear them all saying "Thank You and We love you." My thoughts are with their families at this time even though I wasn't here for their sadaversary. I don't think that there has been one time that I've come to this wonderful, safe place that you have created for all of us, and not thought of Jenny & Elizabeth. The incredible courage and compassion that you have shown us all started with the love you have for your wonderful friends and their immeasurable loss. I've only been able to read the entire site for the girls once as I break into tears only moments into it, but one thing really stuck with me. It was the fact that Jenny had actually broken free, but she ran back to save her Elizabeth. I don't think the depth of her love and compassion could EVER be measured. Without a thought, she sacrificed herself to help her friend. As the bible says "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends". The fact that she and Elizabeth continue to help others through you is nothing short of a[glow=red,2,300]miracle created in love.[/glow]I hope that their parents know how much they have touched so many people that thought we had no hope left. I know that I, for one, will be forever indebted to them as well as you.
