I posted the address for our judge on the below post that I wrote here a while back. My computer has been down thanks to tornadoes in Missouri. Here is the address, too: Stone County Courthouse P.O. Box 18 Galena, Missouri 65656 (417)357-6115 telephone (417)357-6163 facsimile J. Edward Sweeney, Presiding Judge
I also have a question and wonder if anyone can help here. I want to write a research paper for one of my college classes on protesting "prison perks". I cannot find any information on this subject and wonder if any of you have read any good books or articles in the papers or magazines on this. You know the perks that the prisoners get and we don't--dental care, free tuition, computer access, fan mail, etc. The list goes on. I want to write my report on this because we get to read them outloud at our college. If anyone knows of any material I can use, I'd appreciate it. Thanks! Val

oooh yeah, that's a good topic. John Walsh had something like this on his show once, not sure if it would still be on his website maybe in the archives if it has an archive. I'll see what i can find and get back with ya.

Hi I was just wondering if someone could tell me how to get to the wall with all the murder victim names on it. I went there once and forgot how to get there. Do you think it is possible that you can make it easier to get to this wall because i am sure alot of people would love to read it, but iot is too difficult to get to. thanks

U.S. Rep. Zimmer has an interesting site that contains a lot of info on just how well some prisoners are treated. He has presented the "Zimmer amendment tp prevent luxurious conditions in prison". According to the site his "No Frills Prison Act" will eliminate such perks as cable tv, stairmasters, catered prime rib dinners etc... (Boy that last one really shocked me!) Anyway, it contains quite a few press releases and information on limiting/eliminating perks that prisoners are receiving. The web address is: [glow=red,2,300] www.strengthtech.com/correct/laws/federal/luxurypr.htm[/glow] I hope it's what you are looking for! -stacie

I have been inside 2 prisons to attend parole hearings.
Their law libraries were bigger than the one at the Knox County District Attorney's office.
There was a "game room" at one with ping pong and fooz ball tables and big TV and coke and snack machines.
BY LAW they are entiteld to medical, dental, and psychological care and to pursue GED's, bachelor and masters degrees at no cost to them.
Call your local DA's office. I bet they have something that lists all the monsters rights and priveleges while in prison.

Thank you Val for answering my question. THe reason why I wanted to know was that I posted my sister's boyfriends name on there who was murdered 6 years ago and I wanted my sister to see it. Thank you again. I will also go to your site.

Isn't that a trip? The criminals get free everything and I can't even afford to take my children to the dentist. I pay for my own college education, too. My paper is going to be good. Thanks, everyone!
