In June 1991, 23-year-old Denise Huber pulled over to the side of the freeway in Orange County, California to mend a flat tire - and disappeared without a trace. Police, family and friends searched desperately for the young woman. Yet, all leads ran dry and the investigation went cold. But in 1994 a mysterious Ryder Truck in the driveway of John Famalaro of Prescott, Arizona, was brought to the attention of police. What began as a routine call quickly turned into a case of homicide. Police found a freezer in the back of the truck containing the body of Denise. Inside the house, detectives found a bloody hammer, guns and handcuffs. After thawing the body with a hairdryer, a forensic anthropologist determined that the victim had been bludgeoned to death. At his trial, Famalaro was convicted of murder. He is now on San Quentin's death row. her memorial page can be found on www.findagrave.com in the non-famous search area

i do not know, Denise was one of my best friends, one of these days im going over to San Quintien and ask what he did that for and why he hurt us the way he did. where i live now in MS after i moved, we recently had a bad homicide here where a 41 year old raped and strangled a 15 year old girl to death and left her body in the motel room.
